Investor questions

The eight questions every international investor asks first.

Can a foreigner own real estate in Ukraine? +

Yes. Foreign individuals and companies can own apartments, houses and commercial property in Ukraine on the same terms as Ukrainian citizens. Land has some restrictions, which we explain case by case.

Can I do everything remotely? +

Yes. Most of our international clients never visit before closing. We work via power of attorney issued at the Ukrainian consulate in your country, plus video walkthroughs and signed digital documents.

How are funds protected during the purchase? +

Funds sit in a regulated escrow account and are released only against signed, notarised closing. You receive a complete paper trail in English at every step.

How are returns paid out? +

Monthly bank transfer in EUR or USD to the account of your choice, after costs and management fees, with an itemised statement. Cryptocurrency settlement is available on request.

What about taxes? +

Standard Ukrainian rental income tax for non-residents is 18% + 1.5% military levy, withheld at source and reported. We coordinate with your home-country accountant for double-taxation treaty relief where it applies.

How do you charge? +

A one-time sourcing fee on acquisition, plus a monthly management fee on rental income. Both are agreed in writing before any work begins. No hidden commissions, no kickbacks from sellers.

What is the minimum investment? +

Entry-level residential deals start around €60,000. Most of our international clients place €100,000–€500,000 per asset. Larger portfolios are welcome.

Is it safe to invest in Ukraine right now? +

Kyiv has been functional and operational throughout. Insurance, escrow and a conservative selection of districts make it possible to invest with eyes open. We will not propose anything we would not own ourselves.
